Below (solid white PVC), ....Model 2125 HDP's start with a standard Tee style fitting which then has the inside machined out. This not only provides clearance for large rocks, but also reduces the overall weight and pull resistance at the pump handle.
The Model 2125 GOLD Hand Dredge's, works much like a typical motorized recreational suction dredge, only that the suction is Immediate Vacuum Response (IVR) unlike the impeller produced (see hydraulic mining monitor) type water pressure created by forcing water angularly into a venturi to produce siphoning vacuum at the dredge nozzle. This way, the motor and pump are protected from suctioning in sand and rocks.
With the M2125 the sand and rock gets suctioned into and through the entire pump. Suspended in the water, the material travels deep into the pump as high as the round white handle before being pumped through and out into the discharge hose, still mostly suspended in the gushing water! As your pumping you can hear the flapper valves "Clacking" as they close, and the clicking sounds of contact as the dredge material passes through in the turbulence.
The M2125's convoluted cylinder bellows, "HG Power Plant", is reinforced both inside and out, that way it can be stretched without collapsing and compressed without ballooning! Since it's hand powered, there's no need to worry about otherwise catastrophic pump failure due to pressure build up or higher vacuum.
Inside the pump, the unique flapper valve's are rigid enough that they'll likely never get pushed out through the intake or get sucked in through the discharge valve while GOLD Hand Dredging! Nearing effortless in operation, all day 2" GOLD hand dredging is possible.
The Model 2125 Gold Hand Dredge (maximum intake valve clearance 2 1/8"/2.125") handles 2" Rocks? No problem. A 2" Steel restrictor ring is built into the detachable 12" intake pipe and eliminates impact damage from rocks. Rocks over 3" long easily enter into and then pass through the Model 2125 Hand Dredge during hand pumping action. Plugs ups are a rarity, and with the clear plastic it's easy to see inside should a tree branch gets suctioned in.
With pumping rates at over 30 gallons per minute, the M2125 HDP Clear doubles as an "Ultra" High Capacity Super Hand Pump that's comfortable to operate from just about any position. With out a rod and piston's pull resistance (contact point friction), there'll be much less arm fatigue to slow down pumping progress. The M2125 HDP Clear disassembles in seconds and stores away in unbelievably small storage spaces. Easy to deploy in smaller work areas in limited spaces too!
Constructed of heavy duty clear PVC plastic, there's no distortion during hand pumping action that could otherwise reduce performance. These fittings are so thick, they may never wear through! When they start to get cloudy from impact scratches and abrasions, PVC clear primer can be applied to restore clarity with "like new again" results.
Pulling the cylindrical white handle that stretches the bellows can generate the necessary mechanical force with the in coming water that's needed to lift gold. For crevicing, smaller diameters of pipe can be fitted using adapters
This Pump easily transfers 30 gallons of water per minute hand pumping. 1 way valve flapper's are replaceable insuring low maintenance upkeep. Extra Buna-N flappers are available through the online store.
Occasional treatment with PVC Clear Primer keeps the M2125 HDP Clear plastic, clear; eliminating cloudiness from scratches.
