High volumne hand powered bilge pump GOLD Hand Dredge. Makes for rapid draw downs of standing water laden with "Anchovies" (as in bait tank) silt, sand, rocks and GOLD. Great for working in unstable confined spaces too. Like when rafting through GOLD Country. With approx. 10 inches of stretch it delivers upwards of 57 cu. inches or 32. oz. of water with each stroke enabling you to easily pump 25 gallons per minute. Pulling the handle can more than double the mechanical force of the water compaired to siphoning thereby improving gold recovery from cracks and crevices.
Good lift figures, an adult of average strength gage tested the Model 625 BP at over -10 in/hg, which translates to over 11.3 ft. or 135 in. for water lift. A standard well pump max's out at 34ft. and that's with a pinned handle that allows for leveraged pumping.
The Model 625 delivers head too, capeable of pumping water up the grade limited to your strength to push water against gravity and itself.
The only difference between the Model 625 HD P Hand Dredge and this Model 625 HD P Bilge Style Gold Hand Dredge is the discharge valve system with a bearing mounted pivoting 90 Deg. Elbow.
This Bilge Model 625 discharge valve is before the bearing mounted elbow, unlike the standard HD Hand Dredge where the pressure fit elbow precedes the discharge valve.
Great performance! Large aperture insures suctions and discharges as fast as you can work with typical 1 1/2" riverbed material in the vacuumming power range in excess of minus - 10hg's.
Telescoping pipe assembly is standard, and convienient for micro adjusting the piping length providing ultimate comfort while working. 1 1/2" steel lined restrictor nozzle is also standard for the Model 625 HD P Gold Hand Dredge in Bilge Styling.
